If only stars could speak, They would have told you the number of sleepless nights I have spent, Just to see a smile on your face the next morning.

If only time could tell stories, It would have told you about the efforts I have made just to make you through the rough days smoothly.

If only you could read the pain, You would have known, how much it hurts to live your worst nightmare, seeing you with someone else.

If only my musings were heard by you, They would have told you how I can give my entire universe just to be a speck of dust for you.

If only oceans could do more than wave, They would have told you how I can leave peaceful shores just to be in a storm with you.

If only love was enough for you, You would have known that the care I take of you during that time of the month is more of a love than saying it blandly three times a day.

If only memories could speak, They would have told you about my 14 hours of journey just to see you for an hour

If only you had known all of this, I won't be crying over words and looking for a paradox to heal....
